Okay okay okay. So y'all love the stamp. I should be thankful for that at least.

It just feels weird that most things in my gallery have taken over 10 hours and lots of blood sweat and tears to produce, and this .... THING took 5 minutes to tack together and toss out, mostly as an afterthought. And it's by far the most popular item I've ever created.

I feel like an author who's written dozens of novellas, yet it is one trivial limerick, scribbled on the back of a soiled cocktail napkin, that everyone loves.

I just wish there was a way to turn off +fav notifications for individual items, because this is all I see anyone +faving anymore.

arthur conan doyle felt the same about sherlock holmes ( he took pride in his history novels yet almost no one knows he wrote anything other than the sherlock holmes series )

Would you agree that this applies to comics that aren't hand-drawn? That is, comics made from character-customization/poser programs that are copy-pasted and dialogued into a story?

Technically yes. I'm not a fan of using someone else's models and sprites, but if the posing/lighting work is good quality, I can overlook it.

I've seen a lot of really amateur sprite comics/Poser comics in my day, where the artist didn't bother to put in little touches and left the poses stiff and unbelievable. Sure it's an art form, but that doesn't always mean it's good art.

So, in my line of work, no one should complain if it looks very well done?

Guess I better step my game up.

I don't really speak for others, and people have the right to complain all they want. It's ultimately up to the artist to decide how much of it deserves attention.

...I see what you mean. So it's up to me to decide what criticisms are really worth the time?

Decide which ones are worth the time.
Recognize which ones are the most true.
